Policy for Issuance of Pakistan Passport

The Government of Pakistan has decided that with effect from May 1992, the passport will be issued to Pakistan Nationals only after police verification. The following include their dependants (son, daughter, father, mother, real sister, brother, grandchild but excluding wife/husband), are exempted from police verification subject to production of documentary evidence.

Senators/MNAs/MPAs & Councillors, Government Servants (Serving/Retired) employees of Autonomous/Semi-autonomous/Local bodies/Corporation/State-owned Industries, Businessmen holding Membership of Chambers since 1979, Persons holding passport issued prior to 1979, Persons having passed Matriculation/FA/BA/MA examination before 1980. Journalists holding accreditation cards issued by Federal/Provincial Government, Holders of Pakistan Citizenship/Naturalized Certificate.

Requirements

  1. Applicant should apply in person.
  2. Applicant should be a resident in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia , Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Eritrea.
  3. Application of Form A (One).
  4. Passport size photographs on mat paper (Three).
  5. National Identity Card/RG-11 Form (Original and two photocopies).
  6. Present passport (Original and one photocopy).
  7. Residential permit (Original and one photocopy).
  8. Evidence/Documentary proof of claiming exemption from police verification (Original and one photocopy).
